Created from a reclaimed 6 bottle wine box and upholstered a beautiful wallpaper collage style fabric designed by Angel Strawbridge. Each box is unique and the slightly aged dark varnish finish enhances this unique character. Its markings are a key feature which show evidence of its former purpose.
The hinged lid is upholstered in this beautiful, 100% cotton fabric which has a design taken from old wallpapers found in the attic of The Chateau de la Motte Husson as seen on Channel 4’s Escape to the Chateau, over a high quality fire retardant foam and lining, creating a firm padded top.
It is finished with two decorative brass coloured metal scallop handles.
Ideal as a footstool, storage or a small seat.
