When you order a customised ottoman from us, we like to get you involved in the design process a little. As well as getting the chance to choose which legs and handle you’d like, we usually send over photos of some layout options by simply wrapping the fabric round an existing lid before going ahead with the upholstery. You can also request a different box colour if you prefer a lighter wood finish. This gorgeous teal contemporary print has a bold design and lots of focal points including monkeys and parrots but the favourite is the humming bird and Toucan.Looking forward to completing this ottoman ready for its new home!

I was feeling inspired by a steadily growing pile of wood in the corner of our workshop and this week, I took action! I thought the offcuts and odd shaped pieces of oak left over from making other items would make some unique and quirky chopping boards, I literally had a dream about it. ? I chopped corners off here and there which just adds to the character and makes each one different, drilled some handy holes and… I’m super pleased with the result! There is something so satisfying about organically creating shapes from wood with no real plan, it reminded me of the days of experimenting at art school. What we love most about these oak boards is that they mean we are using pieces of wood that may otherwise not be used or end up as firewood. Now for some oil to bring out that lovely grain and they’ll be ready to take to our next event at the beginning of June in Clevedon. …#handcrafted #kitchenware #homeaccessories #choppingboard #utencil #oak #reducingwaste #craft #design #shopsmall #gingerandtweed
